Falls Church Police Nab Credit Card Burglar

Alexandria man charged with burglary, grand larceny.

After four months of searching for a person who allegedly stole a purse with credit cards from a City of Falls Church home, amongst other things, police have made an arrest.

Francisco Graciela Hernandez, 30, of Alexandria, has been charged with burglary, grand larceny and credit card theft. Hernandez, who police arrested Tuesday, is in the Prince William County jail on unrelated charges.

Police said Hernandez used the stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases throughout the area. Police said Hernandez stole the credit cards from a home on Hillwood Avenue on Feb. 11.

Police advises citizens to lock their doors and secure all belongings when left unattended.  Suspicious activity should immediately be reported by calling 703-241-5050.
