Falls Church Police Report DUIs, Graffiti, Cigarettes Stolen from 7-Elevens

Plus marijuana violations, stolen license plates, illegal cigarette smoking at local restaurants.

Falls Church Police were busy last week with DUIs, narcotics violations, restaurants permitting smoking, shoplifting and graffiti.

This report from the Falls Church Police is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation. Police ask that anyone with information about any of these crimes contact them at 703-241-5050.

The following is a list of crimes that took place in Falls Church between Sept. 23 to Sept. 29.

  • Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 100 block E. Annandale Rd. On Sep. 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, 42, of Vienna, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.
  • Graffiti, 200 block Gundry DrOn Sep. 23, graffiti were found on a fence.
  • Driving Under the Influence, 1000 block E. Broad StOn Sep. 23, an officer responded to the location for a report of an accident.  One of the drivers, 21, of McLean, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
  • Narcotics Violations, 700 block E. Broad St. On Sep. 24, an officer conducted a a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, Lucy Wang, 25, of Herndon, was arrested for Possession of Schedule II Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
  • Graffiti, 300 block Park Ave. On Sep. 25, graffiti were found on parking signs.
  • Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block W. Annandale Rd. On Sep. 25, police received a report of license plates stolen from a vehicle sometime after Aug. 8.
  • False Report to Police, 336 S. Washington St. (Fast Auto Loans) On Sep. 25, a 22-year-old from Alexandria, was arrested and released on summons for Providing a False Report to Police.
  • Larceny from Building, 1000 block Parker StOn Sep. 25, an unsecure bicycle was stolen from a residence.
  • Shoplifting, 804 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Sep. 25, an unknown suspect stole cigarettes.  The suspect is described as a white male approximately 25-27 years old, 5`7"- 5`8" tall with a small-growth beard. He was wearing a dark baseball cap backwards, a green long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.
  • Shoplifting, 110 N. West St. (7-Eleven) On Sep. 25, an unknown suspect stole cigarettes.  The suspect is described as a white male approximately 25-30 years old, with a short beard and mustache. He was wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, green cargo shorts and black sneakers.
  • Public Drunkenness, 1200 block S. Washington St. On Sep. 25, 29-year-old man from Falls Church was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
  • Driving Under the Influence, 100 block S. Maple Ave. On Sep. 26, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 55-year-old man from Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
  • Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Le Mirage) On Sep. 26, a 42-year-old woman from Springfield, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
  • Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #21 (Hai Lua Restaurant) On Sep. 26, a 41-year-old from Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
  • Destruction of Property and Public Drunkenness, 400 block James Ct. On Sep. 26, 35-year-old man from St. LeonardMd., was arrested for Destruction of Property and Public Drunkenness.
  • Driving Under the Influence, 100 W. Broad StOn Sep. 27, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 23-year-old man from Great Falls, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
  • Narcotics Violation, 100 block N. Washington St. On Sep. 28, a 34-year-old man from Martinsburg, W. Va., was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.
  • Narcotics Violation and Obstruction of Justice, 200 block N. Washington StOn Sep. 28, a 62-year-old man from New Market, Va., was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Arrest.
