Falls Church Woman Struck, Killed by Bus in Rockville
Anicia Caringal, 62, died after being struck by a bus near the Rockville Metro station.
A Falls Church woman died after being hit by a Ride On bus near the Rockville Metro station on Tuesday night, reports MyFoxDC.com.
The accident happened around 7:20 p.m. near the station entrance at North Stonestreet Avenue.
The Montgomery County Police Department identified the woman as Anicia Caringal, 62, of Falls Church. They said she was near a crosswalk when she was hit by the bus. It’s unclear if she was in the crosswalk when struck by the bus as it turned into the station.

Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs were a factor in the fatal accident.
