One Dead in Falls Church Fire

Investigators haven't identified the victim in the blaze.

An early morning fire in Falls Church killed one person and two pets Wednesday.

Capt. William Moreland of Fairfax County Fire & Rescue said firefighters were called to a fire at 3103 Manor Rd. at 3:20 a.m.

Firefighters found one person, a dog and a cat in the single level home. All were deceased.

Moreland said he does not know where the victim was found in the house and investigators don’t know what started the fire.

“We’re working with neighbors to determine if the victim was the only person in the home,” Moreland said.
