Police: Boy, 12, Stabbed at Seven Corners Center Thursday Night

UPDATE, Saturday: WJLA reports the boy was stabbed near Home Depot and ran to the nearby McDonald's after the attack.

Fairfax County Police report that a boy was stabbed Thursday night while walking in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County.

The incident occurred Thursday night, at the 6200 block of Seven Corners Center. The shopping center is located at Leesburg Pike and Route 50 and includes many stores including Home Depot, Chipotle and Barnes & Noble bookstore. It was likely snowing lightly at the time with temperatures in the 30s.

Just before 7 p.m., the 12-year-old boy was walking when he was approached by three suspects. The suspects assaulted the boy and stabbed him in the upper body, according to police. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police describe the suspects as Hispanic and in their 20s. No arrests have been made.
