A bank in the Bailey's Crossroads area was robbed Friday, after another branch of the same bank, also on Leesburg Pike, was robbed in June, according to police.
The Capital One Bank at 6367 Seven Corners Center was robbed Monday afternoon at 5:20 p.m., according to a news release from Fairfax County Police.
A man entered the Capital One Bank, handed a teller a note announcing a robbery and implied he had a weapon. The suspect took cash and fled.
There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a mustache.
The other recent robbery, of the Capital One Bank at 5851 Crossroads Center, also took place in the late afternoon; that suspect was described as black, age 20-39, tall, with a goatee and wearing a black hat.
