Police: Early Morning Armed Robbery at The State Theatre on New Year's Day
Police seek public's help in finding suspects in robbery.
The City of Falls Church Police Department seeks information on an armed robbery that took place just before 7 a.m. New Year's Day at 220 N. Washington St., at The State Theatre.
Two suspects entered the building demanding cash. They are described by police as black males in their 20s, possibly younger, wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black baseball caps and bandannas. One suspect had a firearm. They left the building with an undetermined amount of cash.
There was one employee present; there were no injuries.
The venue played host to a New Year's Eve party Tuesday night.
