Police Investigating Attempted Bank Robbery in Falls Church

Alleged bank robber ran off without receiving any money after passing a note to a bank teller.

Fairfax County police are looking for a man who tried to rob a bank in the Seven Corners Center in Falls Church Tuesday.

At about 3 p.m., a Hispanic man walked into the , passed a note to a teller but ran off before receiving any money. The man, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, tan shorts and black shoes, fled the bank on foot, police said.

Police said the man is between 5 feet 9 inches tall and around 19 to 20 years old.
