POLICE LOG: Falls Church Police Seek Assault Suspect

Teen charged with possession of marijuana.

City of Falls Church police are looking for a man who assaulted someone Saturday inside the 7 Eleven at 201 S. Washington St.

Police did not identify the victim but said the victim did not suffer any visible injuries after being beaten by the suspect.

The alleged suspect is believed to be between 20 and 25-years-old and stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall. Police said the man appeared to be Hispanic, weigh about 190 pounds and have a muscular build.

Police said the man was wearing a sweatshirt and dark jeans at the time of the attack.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

Tam H. Huynh, 62, of Annandale, was charged with driving under the influence Nov. 27 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Peter Grant, 18, of the City of Falls Church, was charged with underage possession of alcohol and public drunkenness Nov. 27 in the 200 block of W. Broad St.

City of Falls Church police are investigating the theft of an unsecured stroller stolen Nov. 29 from a home in the 500 block of Roosevelt Blvd.

David Hawkins, 23, of Davids, Pa., was charged with public drunkenness Nov. 30 in the 200 block of Washington St.

James M. Feely, 24, of Washington, D.C., was charged with urinating in public Nov. 30 in the 200 block of N. Washington St.

Alexander Zakupowsky, 24, of Bethesda, Md., was charged with public drunkenness Dec. 1 in the 100 block of S. Washington St.

Phat T. Tran, 48, of Falls Church, was charged Dec. 1 with smoking in a non-designated area in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Salman F. Malik, 30, of Alexandria, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a blood or breath test Dec. 2 in the 800 block of E. Broad St.

A 17-year-old male, of the City of Falls Church, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Dec. 2 in the 400 block of Maple Ave.

Ivin L. Pointer, 18, of Alexandria, was charged Dec. 2 with felony shoplifting in the 100 block of Hillwood Ave.
