Police Log: Only Two Reported Incidents in Falls Church on Cinco de Mayo

The Falls Church police department supplied the following incident and arrest information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Falls Church city police responded to two events on Sunday, which was Cinco de Mayo.

A 41-year-old Silver Spring, Md., man was charged with being drunk in public in the 200 block of North Washington Streeet, and a 28-year-old Falls Church man was charged with driving under the influence in the 6700 block of Wilson Boulevard.

No other incidents were reported Sunday.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

A 46-year-old Potomac Falls man was charged with driving under the influence and refusal on April 29 in the 400 block of West Broad Street.

A 47-year-old Dumfries man was charged with violating the city’s noise ordinance on April 30 in the 6600 block of Wilson Boulevard.

A 46-year-old Manassas man was charged with public drunkenness on May 1 in the 6600 block of Wilson Boulevard.

A 28-year-old woman of no fixed address was charged with public drunkenness on May 1 in the 100 block of North West Street.

A 23-year-old Arlington woman was charged with panhandling on May 2 in the 1000 block of East Broad Street.

A 52-year-old Washington, DC, man was charged with shoplifting, petty larceny and public drunkenness on May 3 in the 1100 block of W. Broad Street.

Falls Church city police are investigating a report of a stolen car on May 3 in the 200 block of Gibson Street.

A Hyattsville, Md,. woman was charged with prostitution on May 3 in the 300 block of West Broad Street.

A 53-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with public drunkenness on May 4 in the 200 block of Park Avenue.
