POLICE LOG: Third Robbery Suspect Extradited to Falls Church from North Carolina

The third man involved in two December robberies in the city was served a Falls Church warrant when he was extradited from North Carolina on April 4.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents in Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina caught Miguel M. Garcia, 21, of Warrenton after he returned on a flight from Mexico. Police linked Garcia and Vincent H. Pizarro, 21, of Haymarket to the robberies after , 24, of Manassas.

Police said Montgomery implicated Garcia and Pizarro after he was arrested.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of two stolen air condition units from a building in the 100 block of N. West St. and another from a building in the 300 block of Poplar Dr. both on April 2.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of four stolen tires from a vehicle in the 500 block of S. Washington St. on April 2.

A 46-year-old Falls Church man was charged with driving under the influence in the 1100 block of S. Washington St. on April 2.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of a stolen purse from a building in the 300 block of Park Ave. on April 2.

A 39-year-old Frederick, Md. man was charged with driving under the influence, identity theft and refusal to submit to a blood or breath test in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on April 3.

A 58-year-old Falls Church man was charged with driving under the influence in the 200 block of W. Broad St. on April 3.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of a stolen purse from a vehicle in the 900 block of Ellison St. on April 3.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of a theft from a store in the 1200 block of W. Broad St. on April 3.

A 50-year-old Falls Church man was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct in the 200 block of N. Washington St. on April 6.

A 24-year-old Charlotte, N.C. man was charged with public drunkenness in the 100 block of N. West St. on April 6.

A 31-year-old Arlington man was charged with public drunkenness in the 100 block of N. Washington St., on April 6.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of an air conditioning unit stolen from a building in the 1100 block of W. Broad St. on April 6.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of piping stolen from a home in the 300 block of Grove Ave. on April 6.

A 33-year-old Washington, D.C. man was charged with shoplifting in the 1100 block of W. Broad St. on April 6.

A 31-year-old Falls Church man was charged with operation of motor vehicle without a license in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on April 6. Police also charged a 19-yer-old Falls Church man with disorderly conduct.
