Police Log: Three Charged With DUI Over Weekend in Falls Church

Falls Church City Police stopped three motorists over the weekend for driving under the influence.

On Saturday, police charged a 73-year-old woman from the City of Falls Church with driving under the influence.

On Saint Patrick’s Day, police charged a 50-year-old man from Fountain Valley, Calif. and a 39-year-old Erie, Pa. man with driving under the influence.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

A 23-year-old Manassas Park woman was charged with possession of marijuana in the 900 block of Ellison St. on March 12.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of graffiti on a stop sign in the 900 block of Madison Ln. on March 12.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of graffiti found on a wall in the 700 block of E. Broad St. on March 12.

A 55-year-old Annandale man was charged with possession of a gambling device in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on March 12.

Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of a theft in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on March 13. Police said a man between 30 and 40-years-old and about 6 feet tall stole a donation box with cash.

A 47-year-old Alexandria man was charged with drinking in public in the 1000 block of W. Broad St. on March 14.

A 25-year-old Springfield man and a 24-year-old Falls Church man were charged with smoking in a non-designated area in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on March 15.

A 45-year-old Waldorf, Md. man was charged with possession of marijuana in the 300 block of Hillwood Ave. on March 16.

A 41-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with panhandling in the 400 block of Roosevelt Blvd. on March 17.

A 23-year-old Springfield man was charged with shoplifting in the 1200 block of Broad St. on March 17.

A 24-year-old Fairfax woman was charged with driving under the influence in the 100 block of W. Broad St. on March 18.
