The three men allegedly got away with money, jewelry and electronics but no one was injured.

Fairfax County Police are looking for three men they say robbed two men in an Alexandria home Wednesday morning near the Skyline Mall.

According to a press release, a 24-year-old Maryland man was awaken by three men – two of them armed with handguns – around 2 a.m. Wednesday who demanded money. An undisclosed amount of money was taken along with some jewelry and electronics.

Police did not say in the release how the men gained entrance into the home.

The two men inside the home in the 3700 block of North Rosser Street, the second a 45-year-old man, were not injured.

The three men were all described as black, between 25 and 30-years-old and ranged from 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall and weighed between 160 and 175 pounds, according to the release.

According to the release, one of the victims heard a female’s voice as the men fled but she was not seen with them.

Home invasions are increasing rapidly. These thugs know that there is less of a chance getting caught burglarizing a home then robbing businesses. So stay safe, be vigilant, install deadbolts and keep alarm activated. If you don't have an alarm system try the United States Security Company Directory or USSCD for great affordable home security options.

If these thugs ever invade my home while I am in it, they will get what is coming to them.
