10 People Sent to Area Hospitals After Crash in Falls Church

A South Riding man was charged with failure to pay full time attention, according to Fairfax County Police.

A multi-vehicle accident in Falls Church sent 10 people to two area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

David Francis, 30, of South Riding, was charged with failure to pay full time attention after he plowed his pickup truck into a utility pole and then five other vehicles.

Fairfax County Police said Francis was traveling eastbound on Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church near Graham Road Monday around 8:20 a.m. Police say Francis hit a utility pole on the right side of the road and then crossed into the westbound lanes and hit the five vehicles.
