Police: Robbery Reported at United Bank on Leesburg Pike

Man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Fairfax County Police Department is investigating the robbery of the United Bank at 7787 Leesburg Pike, in the Falls Church-Tysons Corner area of the McLean Police District.

Police responded to the bank at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.

A man entered the bank, demanded money from the teller and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. No injuries were reported.

The bandit was described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds with a full beard.
