Police: Vehicle Vandalism, Public Drunkenness and More

The latest police reports from the City of Falls Church Police.

The City of Falls Church Police provides weekly reports of criminal activity in the area. This report is not a definitive list of all activity, and where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction. Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test: On April 15 in the 7300 block Lee Highway, a man was arrested for driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a blood or breath test.

Smoking Violation: On April 16, four people were issued summonses in the 6700 block of Wilson Boulevard for smoking in a non-designated area.

Vandalism to Vehicle: On April 16, an unknown suspect threw a trash can at vehicle while the owner was getting gas. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11" tall, weighing 250 pounds, and missing several front teeth. He was wearing a red VT hat.

Public Drunkenness: On April 17, a man was arrested for public drunkenness in the 800 block of East Broad Street.

Larceny: On April 17, gasoline was stolen from a canister in the 100 block of Lounsbury Place. 

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test: On April 18 in the 700 block of East Broad Street, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a man from Falls Church, was arrested for driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a blood or breath test.

Public Drunkenness: A man was arrested April 18 in the 400 block of South Washington Street for public drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness: A man was arrested April 20 in the 600 block of South Washington Street for public drunkenness.

Commercial Burglary:  An unknown person (or people) forced entry into a store in the 100 block of East Annandale Road on April 20. Cash was stolen.

Larceny from Vehicle: A person reported April 20 that an iPad was stolen from a vehicle sometime on Apri 19 in the 300 block of West Broad Street.
