Three External Air Conditioning Units Stolen in Falls Church

Police believe the thefts are coincidental and not connected.

As the cool weather exits, air conditioning unit thefts in Falls Church are heating up.

There were reports of three outside air conditioning units stolen from homes in the city this month. The large units are bolted to the ground and city spokeswomen Susan Finarelli said police are actively investigating the thefts.

“Right now it's a coincidence,” Finarelli said. “There's no evidence they're connected, but it's certainly an odd coincidence.”
