DMV 2 Go Bus Traveling Back to Falls Church

The full service mobile DMV office will make five more visits to the City of Falls Church in 2013.

The DMV 2 Go bus is making its way back to Falls Church this year for five more visits. The bus visited the city in January.

Starting March 8, the bus will come every other month (May 10, July 12, Sept. 13 and Nov. 8) and stay open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the Bowl America in the city.

The city’s DMV Select office and the Commissioner of the Revenue along with the DMV will sponsor the visits.

“Our office is proud to bring the DMV 2 Go to the City of Falls Church,” Tom Clinton, Commissioner of the Revenue said in a statement. “This is a great way to provide residents with a convenient way to handle all of their DMV transactions without having to go outside of the city.”

The bus made its first visit to Falls Church in August and has made three visits to the city since then.

The full service bus is handicapped-accessible and handles all DMV transactions such as driver’s license renewals, applying for state ID cards and taking road and knowledge tests.
