Falls Church City government will close at 3 p.m. today.
A snow emergency has been declared in the city and while government offices will close, the Falls Church Community Center however, will stay open until 10 p.m., weather permitting.
City residents are reminded not to park along snow emergency routes. Residents parked along snow emergency routes will be ticketed and towed, said Susan Finarelli, spokeswoman for the city. The routes must be cleared for snowplows and salt trucks can clear the roads.
