FIVE THINGS: DMV Bus Rolling into the City Friday
Two historical groups will hold meetings at City Hall tonight.
1- On Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. at , the Department of Motor Vehicles' (DMV) mobile customer service center, DMV 2 Go, will be on-site to provide all DMV transactions.
2- The Falls Church Historic Architectural Review Board will meet Thursday night at City Hall in the Oak Room at 7:30 p.m.
3- The Falls Church Historical Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall for their regular meeting.

4- Volunteers who live in the City of Falls Church are needed to serve on the boards and commissions listed below. Contact the City Clerk’s Office (703-248-5014, cityclerk@fallschurchva.gov, or online for an application form or more information. Requests for appointments must also be made through the City Clerk. Applications are being accepted until the end of the month.
5- If you’re celebrating a birthday on Aug. 23, you share it with NBA stars Kobe Bryant and Jeremy Lin, actor Gene Kelly and Hall of Fame quarterback Sonny Jurgnsen. Happy birthday!
