FIVE THINGS: Submit Your Questions for ‘Ask a Cop’

1-    The deadline to donate toys for ‘Toys for Tots’ to the City of Falls Church police and Sheriff’s Office is 9 a.m. today. Toys can be dropped off at collections boxes in the lobby of police headquarters at City Hall, the city manager’s office, also in City Hall, and at the Falls Church Community Center.

2-    Questions must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday in order to be included in Friday’s column.

3-    The City of Falls Church Planning Commission will meet at 7:45 p.m. at City Hall.

4-    For children five and up, the Thomas Jefferson Library is hosting ‘Paws to Read,’ today starting at 4 p.m. to allow students to practice their reading to a therapy dog.

5-    If you are celebrating a birthday on Dec. 17, you share it with boxer Manny Pacquiao, baseball star Chase Utley and actor Ernie Hudson. Happy birthday!
