SPEAK OUT: How Should New Technology for FCCPS be Paid For?

As the debate on the City of Falls Church's surplus rages on, do you think it should be split in three?

The question of has opened up a Pandora’s box and all sorts of ideas have come forward.

Some say split the money three ways – between the taxpayers, the City of Falls Church and Falls Church City Public Schools – while others said put it toward needs in the city.

The school board would like to use about $500,000 to upgrade the school system’s technology. With a vote on a resolution on Aug. 13, the question still looms about how to get that technology upgrade paid for.
