UPDATE Tuesday: City of Falls Church Snow Schedule

Plus information on snow removal, Rec and Parks schedule.

  • OPEN/CLOSE STATUS as of Monday, 7:30 a.m.:

    • NEW: COURT CLERK'S OFFICE OPEN AT 10 A.M.

    • OPEN AT 10 AM TUESDAY: City Government offices and services, including City Hall, Court Clerk, DMV Select, Mary Riley Styles Public Library, Permits Counter, and more.

      City staff may take liberal leave after checking with their supervisor.

    • CANCELED: Rec and Parks activities and classes scheduled for before 3 p.m. are canceled. A determination will be made by 1 p.m. about the afternoon and evening classes and activities.

    • CANCELED: Police training on Timber Lane, scheduled for Tuesday. The exercise will be rescheduled, but no date has been set yet.

    • SNOW EMERGENCY LIFTED: The snow emergency declaration has been lifted. Parking may resume on streets marked as Snow Emergency Routes.

    • SNOW REMOVAL: Be a good neighbor: please clear your street's fire hydrants and your sidewalks. Residents must remove snow and ice from sidewalks surrounding the property 12 hours after snowfall; commercial property owners must remove snow and ice from sidewalks surrounding the property 6 hours after snowfall. More details here.
