Veterans Honored in Falls Church Through Song and Words

Veterans Day celebration marked by musical tribute from 3rd grade choir.

Friday’s Veterans Day celebration in the City of Falls Church got off to a spirited start when the 3rd grade choir from the St. James School gave their musical tribute to veterans past and current.

The group of 40 students sang the songs from each branch of the United States military earning them a roaring round of applause from the crowd.

“We’ve been working on this since the first day of school,” said Natalie Lauby, music teacher at the school. “I thought it was great to get them involved.”
