There wasn't much moving in the housing market in Northern Virginia last month, according to a report by Washington Business Journal's Jeff Clabaugh.

With figures from Long & Foster Real Estate, Clabaugh notes that the five Northern Virginia counties saw double-digit declines in year-over-year sales in the month of May.

Sale prices also saw little movement or declines and inventory is way up in some parts of the region, including a 31 percent increase in Loudoun County, according to Clabaugh.
