Soda Pop: A Healthier Recipe

Once upon a time, soda pops were considered tonics, and were actually good for you. Hard to believe? From enhancing immunity and aiding digestion, to alkalizing and detoxifying, the nutritional power of these delicious and refreshing lacto-fermented beverages is not to be underestimated.

In this presentation, Nutritional Therapist Susan Blasko will compare and contrast the modern soda pops with the old fashioned ones, and then demonstrate how to make one of them. You will have the opportunity to taste home made ginger ale, punch (lemon), beet kvass, kombucha, and more. Once you see how easy it is to make these fun, fizzy beverages, you’ll want to revive this technique that was once commonly practiced in the home.
