VPIS July Fourth Readings

The Village Preservation and Improvement Society (VPIS) announces its 29th Annual Independence Day Readings for Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at noon, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, City of Falls Church.  ALL are welcome to come and be part of this patriotic tradition.   Audience members will learn the history and importance of the Fairfax Resolves, the Virginia Declaration of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution, to our Nation’s history, and Virginia’s important role in the early days of our Nation.  Admission is FREE; this is a great way to start your July Fourth celebrations!
