Falls Church High Athlete Wins Scholarship

Tri-star athlete one a few from the region to win the $2,000 scholarship.

Falls Church High senior Marisa Sims recently added the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Triple-Impact Scholarship to her list of accomplishments.

Sims, a letter winner in field hockey, swim and dive and soccer, maintains a 3.5 GPA in her classes and was one of a few students in the Washington metropolitan region to receive the scholarship.

The $2,000 scholarship is awarded to student athletes based on essays, leadership, personal mastery and how they make sports better.

On the field, Sims has been an All-District athlete in field hockey and soccer and an All-Region qualifier in swim and dive.
