Falls Church History Teacher 2013-2014 VEA Teacher of the Year

She is also one of five finalists for the 2014 National Education Association (NEA) Foundation Awards for Teaching Excellence to be announced in February.

Representatives from Virginia Education Association (VEA) and California Casualty brought good news and $650 award to Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School this week.  

Eighth grade world history teacher, Erlynn Kirsch (second from left) has been named the 2013-2014 VEA Teacher of the Year. She is also one of five finalists for the 2014 National Education Association (NEA) Foundation Awards for Teaching Excellence to be announced in February.
