Five Virginia Colleges Make Forbes Top 100 Colleges List

Five Virginia colleges, including one in Northern Virginia made Forbes' Top Colleges list.

The Virginia schools and their rankings in the Top 100 on the list are:

#21: Washington and Lee University 

#29: University of Virginia

#44: College of William and Mary 

#87: Virginia Military Institute 

#88: University of Richmond

Virginia Tech, James Madison University, Hampden-Sydney College and George Mason University all ranked in the nation’s top 200.  For a list of the 22 colleges and universities in Virginia that made the list, click here.

Stanford University topped the list.
