George Mason High Baseball Team Hosts Diamond Dreams Game

The event raised $5,500 for the Division of Oncology at the Children's National Health System.

After four rain dates, the George Mason High School Baseball team hosted the Diamond Dreams game under blue skies Saturday afternoon against the Strasburg Rams, according to FCCPS.

The event raised $5,500 for the Division of Oncology at the Children’s National Health System.

Coordinated by Assistant Coach Brad Young, Mason joined high school and college teams throughout the region in “Diamond Dream” activities. 

The Rams prevailed 7-4, maintaining their district top spot. The teams met again Monday night; and the final home game of the regular season is Wednesday at 7 p.m. vs. William Monroe. Mason is the #2 seed in the Conference 35 tournament and will host the opening game on Monday at 6 p.m.
