Give Falls Church Elementary PTA the Chance to Win Hundreds!

Mention Thomas Jefferson Elementary whenever you visit a NoVa waterpark this summer, and help the PTA win $300!

The Elementary PTA at Mount Daniel and Thomas Jefferson Elementary schools in Falls Church City are hoping that in spite of their relative small size, they can still win big this summer: The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRP) is sponsoring a “School Shout Out” this summer at its five area waterparks, whereby ticket purchasers need only mention their elementary school’s name when they purchase a ticket to any of the waterparks. The school with the most mentions will receive a $300 check for its PTA program.

Because Falls Church City’s elementary schools are split in two—Mount Daniel for grades K and 1, and Thomas Jefferson for grades 2, 3 and 4—but the PTA serves both schools, the PTA is encouraging parents who want to participate in this contest to use Thomas Jefferson Elementary as the common school name. If the Falls Church Elementary PTA wins a prize, the money will be split evenly between the two elementary schools.

The Park Authority will also give out $100 each to the PTAs of the second- and third-most commonly mentioned elementary schools.
