Local Baseball Coaches Help at Nationals' Bryce Harper Camp

Two Falls Church High baseball coaches helped out at Bryce Harper baseball camp last week.

Two baseball coaches took time out of their summer schedules to help a major league star run a baseball camp recently.

Head Coach Freddie Rappina and assistant coach Paul Johnson volunteered at the Bryce Harper Baseball ProCamp sponsored by Under Armour at  on Thursday morning.

Colleen Lally, dean of students at Falls Church High, said the two coaches helped teach more than 200 young baseball players at the daylong camp. Campers were split up according to age and skill level, and each group was accompanied by local varsity baseball coaches and, at one point during the day, worked with Harper.
