On the Road Again: George Mason High Students on Their Way to Myrtle Beach After Charter Breakdown

Students were on their way to a music competition at Myrtle Beach when their charter bus broke down. They got back on the road Thursday night after a replacement bus came to get them.

Students from George Mason High School were back on the road Thursday night after waiting for a new charter bus in North Carolina.

The students were on their way to a music competition at Myrtle Beach, S.C., when their charter bus broke down Thursday afternoon in North Carolina. Students were riding on two buses.

It's uncertain exactly how long the students waited for a new bus, but a tweet from Falls Church City Public Schools went out at 8 p.m. Thursday said that "George Mason music students are back on the road again after a replacement bus arrived."

It appeared that students spent their time waiting by playing basketball according to a message on Twitter from Tyrone Byrd @MasonMustangs.
