Schwartz Brings Swimming Titles to Falls Church High
Falls Church swim team breaks two school records.
swimmers made a splash over the weekend in the regional meet.
Junior Laura Schwartz walked away with individual championships in the 500 freestyle and the 200 medley. Along with Julia Schwartz, Haley McLean and Sydney Langer, Schwartz helped her team break the school’s records in the 4X100 Free Relay and the 4X50 Free Relay at the meet. The four ladies also hit a state meet qualifying time.
Diver Tyler Smith broke the top 16 in the meet, scoring points for the boys.

The state meet will be held at George Mason University Aquatics Center on Feb. 17 with the finals set for Feb. 18.
