Six Falls Church Teachers Earn National Board Certification

FCCPS now has 20 teachers that are national board certified.

Six Falls Church City Public Schools teachers are among the more than 97,000 educators nationally that earned a certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

The six teachers – Cindy Bragg and Jennie Ehrenzeller from Thomas Jefferson Elementary, Brad Lands from Mary Ellen Henderson Middle and Bryan Harris, Erik Healey and Carey Pollack from George Mason High – were announced this week. Lisa High, assistant superintendent of FCCPS, said the school district now has 20 board certified teachers.

The teachers are the latest in the FCCPS to attain this achievement since the school division initiated its program to promote National Board Certification in 2006.
