The Virginia Cavaliers advanced to the ACC Championship game for the first time in 20 years Saturday, which could have been victory enough.
But not for these guys.
A day after defeating Pitt, 51-48, the Cavaliers beat the Duke Blue Devils on Sunday, 72-63, giving them their first conference championship since 1976.

The victory did nothing to settle the final No. 1 seeding for the NCAA men's basketball tournament, but it did give Virginia arguing rights that the Cavaliers should take the slot, having won the ACC regular season and tournament championship.
