Falls Church High School Playoff Game Friday: What Was the Score?

How did they fare in their first game since 1978?

Friday afternoon, the Falls Church High School Jaguars were pumped — the band was marching through the halls and players and students were psyched, ready to play their first football playoff game in years.

How did they do in their first playoff game since the '70s?

The score, according to The Washington Post:

Falls Church: 24, Albemarle: 23

"The Jaguars, playing in their first playoff game since 1978, hang on for a narrow win to remain unbeaten at home this season."

"I think we have a special group of kids, our senior class, a lot of them have been playing together since they were sophomores," Head Coach Said Aziz said Wednesday about the Jaguars.

Albemarle traveled from Charlottesville to Falls Church High to play Friday night.

Stay tuned for a story next week and what's next for the Jaguars!
