SPEAK OUT: Will OKC Heat Up Miami to Win NBA Finals?

After a win in Game 1, will the Kevin Durant led Thunder win an NBA title this year?

The Oklahoma City Thunder, led by Washington, D.C. native Kevin Durant (36-points), took a 1-0 lead in the 2012 NBA Finals over the Miami Heat in a 105-94 win.

“You know, this is a tough series,” Durant told The Washington Post. “This level of basketball is the hardest we play, and we just want to take it slow. . . . It’s a long game, and every time our coach was just saying, ‘Play harder, play harder,’ and that’s what we did.”

Miami’s “big three” (LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh) combined for 59 of the Heat’s points but couldn’t overcome a second half jolt by the Thunder.
