Virginia Soccer: Mason Boys, Girls Advance to VHSL Semis

The Lady Mustangs are going after their sixth consecutive state championship.

The George Mason High girls and boys soccer teams blanked their opponents Tuesday night to advance to the Virginia High School League Semifinals.

The Lady Mustangs (20-4) rolled over Region A runner-ups King William High 10-0 in the VHSL Quarterfinals.

School Athletic Director Tom Horn said the Lady Mustangs are going after their sixth consecutive VHSL state soccer championship.

The boy’s soccer team (18-3-1) defeated West Point High 4-0

The Mason girls, Region B champions, will play next at 2 p.m. in the VHSL Semifinals at Radford University at 2 p.m. and the boys will play at noon.
