Virginia Soccer: Mason High Girls Win 6th Consecutive State Championship

Boys and girls teams bring state soccer championships to Mason.

The George Mason High School boys and girl’s soccer teams won Virginia High School League state championships Sunday and along the way, the girls made history.

The Lady Mustangs won a record sixth straight championship in a 4-0 win over Stuarts Draft High School. The championship set school and VHSL records.

The boys defeated Stonewall Jackson-Quicksburg High School 2-1 to also bring home a state championship.
