Falls Church BJ's Donates $1,000 Worth of Snacks to Breast Cancer Patients

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Falls Church has donated $1,000 worth of food and beverage snacks to breast cancer patients at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, according to a news release from the company.

A not-for-profit, major teaching and research hospital, MedStar Washington is the largest private hospital in the nation’s capital and among the 50 largest hospitals in the nation.

This year, BJ’s Wholesale Club celebrates October as Breast Cancer Awareness month both in the Club and in the community. In partnership with vendors and members, BJ’s efforts in-Club involves building awareness and a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF). In addition to a national donation, BJ’s made efforts to support the local community as well.
