Marshall High School Hosts Statesman Start: Marshall High School will host its back-to-school kickoff event on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. Students can pick up their schedules, learn more about clubs and activities, register their electronic devices, and pick up spirit wear. Students can print documents prior to the event here. 

A Day Like No Other: Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington photo exhibit is on display at the Library of Congress, Thomas Jefferson Building. The exhibit, which is open through March 1 includes 40 black and white images by the daily press, independent photographers and others. The library is located at 10 First St., SE, Washington, DC, 202-707-9779.

Falls Church High School Hosts Jaguar Kick-Off: Falls Church High School will host its Jaguar Kick-Off on Thursday night at 4:30 p.m. Students can participate in a tailgate party and pep rally to celebrate the start of school. Administrators will unveil a brand-new turf field at 7:30 p.m.

Sunset Cinema at Cherry Hill Park: The viewers have spoken. The Viewer's Choice film of the summer is E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial. The film is this week's pick for Sunset Cinema at Cherry Hill Park on Friday evening at 8 p.m.
