Every Tuesday, New Orleans Cajun Seafood in the Seven Corners shopping center (6168 Arlington Blvd) will be donating 10 percent of its food proceeds to  ChildFund International. The owners hope to sponsor at least one child per month.

The Ruff Readers Canine Companions program will take place at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library in Falls Church. Children age 5 to 12 can read with certified reading and therapy dogs from PALS and Unleashed Abilities. Registration required.

Thursday, Sept. 12

Andy Warhol silver clouds opening reception at Artisphere. For the first time in the DC area, 150 of the “clouds” made in the mid-1960s with the plastic-like Scotchpak material will be on display at the Arlington art space. The opening reception runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Free! The exhibit is on loan from the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Artisphere is located at 1101 Wilson Blvd., Arlington. 703-875-1100

Friday, Sept. 13

Take care of your DMV transactions in Falls Church. The DMV2Go mobile customer service outpost will be parked at Bowl America (140 S. Maple Ave.) on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
