Falls Church to Give Thanks for Volunteers Monday: Volunteers from the City of Falls Church's 60-plus organizations are invited to attend the Monday Council meeting to be honored by both Council and Staff for their contributions this past year. Their dedication and civic pride is what makes The Little City a truly special place to live and work, the City said in a news release.

A proclamation will be issued giving thanks for all that the City’s volunteers have done on behalf of their community, and a small token of appreciation will be shared with those in attendance.

Evidence of their hard work can be seen throughout the City – from parks, to the Senior Center, Aurora House, the Recycling Center, the Library, the Community Center, and City Hall itself. The City is incredibly grateful for all the time and energy that City residents and businesses have devoted to these various causes and projects, the news release stated.
