Plans for Falls Church City Burger 7 Canceled

The chain owner will instead open a steak and chicken restaurant in the Falls Plaza on Broad St.

There won’t be a Burger 7 coming to the City of Falls Church after all. According to BurgerDays.com, the company figured opening a location at the now vacant storefront at 1112 W. Broad St in the Falls Plaza was too close to their location at 7505 Leesburg Pike just up Route 7 in the Idylwood Plaza. Instead, according to BurgerDays.com, the owner has decided to open a steak and chicken store at the Falls Church location. Burger 7 Adding Second Falls Church Location in 2013

No solid date of when the second location will open.

Burger 7 is bringing a second location to Falls Church this year. According to a release from the City of Falls Church Economic Development Office, the restaurant may open in March at 1112 W. Broad St in the Falls Plaza. The location is the former location of Bagel Deli Donuts, which closed in 2012. The chain’s other Falls Church location is just up the road at 7505 Leesburg Pike in the Idylwood Plaza. The burger chain features hormone-free, never-frozen beef, milkshakes made with organic milk, fries, hot dogs, turkey burgers and vegan burgers. A plain burger starts at $3.89, with extra charges for select toppings and sides. Falls Church Patch will keep you updated on the opening of this restaurant.
