Remember Me Trying to Fry an Egg on my Car?
With temperatures over 100 in Falls Church today, it made me think of this day last July.
UPDATE: So temperatures have soared above 100 today in Falls Church and it reminded me of a hot day in July of last year. I won't be trying this today, but I'm almost certain I can fry an egg and some bacon on the hood of the car today. July 2011: Ok I must admit, Friday’s weather was a scorcher, but was it hot enough to scramble an egg on the hood of a car? I tried to see if it was possible to fry an egg on the hood of my car but it didn’t “eggs-actly” work out the way I thought it would. Check it out!

So glad someone tried this without a frying pan getting in the way! You were foiled by the slanted hood though. Anyone have an old-school Volvo or Dodge with a flat hood? more ›
