The brother and sister duo of David and Rebecca Tax, owners of Clare and Don’s Beach Shack and Mike’s Deli and Lazy Sundae, started a Clarendon tradition that’s still going on. The Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade is their creation and has grown tremendously since its inception. Members of the Northern Virginia chapter of the National Organization of the Reform of Marijuana Laws held a meeting in Falls Church last week and the topic was legalizing marijuana in Virginia. Chef Will Artley at Pizzeria Orso has been known to have fun and this year, he is hosting a single’s soiree at the restaurant for Valentine’s Day.
