Falls Church City Police are still looking for a man who stabbed another man Tuesday in an altercation near the W & OD Trail. George Mason High School and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School delayed dismissing their students as a precaution. Witnesses gave varying stories of the alleged attack and police have no description of the alleged suspect. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 703-241-5053. Falls Church city police responded to two events on Sunday, which was Cinco de Mayo. A 41-year-old Silver Spring, Md., man was charged with being drunk in public in the 200 block of North Washington Streeet, and a 28-year-old Falls Church man was charged with driving under the influence in the 6700 block of Wilson Boulevard. No other incidents were reported Sunday. In separate and unrelated incidents: A 46-year-old Potomac Falls man was charged with driving under the influence and refusal on April 29 in the 400 block of West Broad Street. A 47-year-old Dumfries man was charged with violating the city’s noise ordinance on April 30 in the 6600 block of Wilson Boulevard. A 44-year-old Falls Church man was arrested in Fairfax County for failing to show up in court in the city. Falls Church City Police say the man was supposed to appear in General District Court on April 17 to answer to the charge of possession of false ID. Police said the man also violated his release condition from a prior arrest on April 1. In separate and unrelated incidents:A 24-year-old Annapolis, Md. man was served an outstanding warrant for failure to comply with a court order stemming from a DWI conviction on Dec. 12.

Falls Church City Police served warrant against an Arlington man who is charged with hit and run, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license last week. Dana Mitchell, 50, is accused of hitting a car in the 200 block of Great Falls St. in the City of Falls Church on April 21. Police in Falls Church said Mitchell, who is still being held at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center on $2,000 bond, allegedly hit the car and it is not known if alcohol played a role in the accident. A 27-year-old Annandale man turned himself into Falls Church City Police on April 21 to face grand larceny charges. While he was turning himself in, police reportedly found marijuana in his pocket. Police said they received word the Annandale man requested cash (instead of a check) from a person the man was selling a car to through Craigslist. The man selling the car reportedly held onto the check, said he would cancel it and took the cash — and then cashed the check, anyway. The Annandale man turned himself into Falls Church City Police and when they searched him, police found marijuana in his pocket. Falls Church City Police say they are looking for a man who exposed himself while in his vehicle in front of a motel. At about 1:15 p.m. on April 9, police said they received a call that a man exposed himself in the 300 block of W. Broad St. The man, between 53 and 56-years-old, reportedly was balding and had a hair ring around his head. Anyone with information on the incident or the man’s whereabouts should call police at 703-241-5053. The third man involved in two December robberies in the city was served a Falls Church warrant when he was extradited from North Carolina on April 4. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents in Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina caught Miguel M. Garcia, 21, of Warrenton after he returned on a flight from Mexico. Police linked Garcia and Vincent H. Pizarro, 21, of Haymarket to the robberies after finding DNA on a cigarette butt that belonged to the alleged third suspect, Robert Montgomery, 24, of Manassas. Police said Montgomery implicated Garcia and Pizarro after he was arrested. A Falls Church man was charged with possession of cocaine and public drunkenness after police caught the man urinating in a parking lot. Falls Church Police officers saw the 32-year-old man urinating in a parking lot in the 300 block of Hillwood Ave. on Sunday. During a search of the man, police found cocaine in his pockets. The intoxicated man was also charged with urinating in public. Falls Church Police are looking for a male cross-dresser that sexually assaulted a woman in a parking lot. Police said the alleged attack happened March 13 in the 100 block of E. Broad St. but wasn’t reported until March 20. According to a police report, the victim was allegedly groped by a man in the parking lot wearing black shorts, high heels and used a black handkerchief to cover his mouth, police said. The man was also wearing a black wig with red and golden highlights and is described as a tall black man with a medium build, according to police. On Saturday, police charged a 73-year-old woman from the City of Falls Church with driving under the influence.
