From youth sports to adult leagues, Patch wants to see athletes of all ages in action this spring and summer.
Whether it’s on the baseball diamond, at the soccer field or during a flag football game at a local park, spring sports are underway in our area, and we want to help share all the great moments and highlights with the community. Patch is looking for athletes, coaches, parents, booster club members and fans who are eager to show their team spirit here on Falls Church Patch. What event is your organization hosting? Let everyone know!
It's really very easy to post your own events on our Patch calendar. Items in our Patch calendar are included in our newsletter every day, so posting events is a great way to get the word out! The video tutorial at right shows you how to do it, but here are easy instructions you can print out: 1. First, you'll need to be logged into Patch. Not a member? It's free and easy to sign up. You can do that by clicking on "Join" at the top right of your screen. 2. Click on 'events' in the blue bar at the top of this screen, below our Patch logo. 3. Then, click on "Add an Event". Would you like to post events, announcements and blogs to Patch? Keep this article handy each time there is something you'd like to share with our community. To post events to the site for free: navigate to the events page and click “Add an Event” on the right side of the page. Tell us all the details about your upcoming event, then click “post my event” at the bottom of the page. That puts the event directly on our calendar. The end result is exactly the same as if a Patch staffer had posted it for you. The only difference is, when you post it, it goes up right away.
